9 months old!
Every night before I go to bed I thank God for giving Jesse and me our beautiful boy Maverick. I can't even explain what he means to me. He is simply everything... A huge light in side this little being that shines and lightens up our entire life. He makes me love like I never knew I could. He is so happy, excepting, and open to any idea the day brings as crazy at it may be. He has become our little parrot and entertains anyone who will watch and listen. He is Maverick Anthony, And I just can't help but smile every night before I fall asleep knowing he is my son :) Here he is 9 months old:

Fouth and Family
Some how I convinced my family to come to good ole Kingsville Texas for the 4th! The whole town consist of about two major street. One fast food lane and the other 4 stores down town. 8 adults 4 kids and 3 dogs all packed away in one house. Not only did we survive with out killing each other, we also had a blast. We were only missing Larry but thought of him often. We had beer, wine, and ammo (fireworks) too! Saturday we ventured to the beach to see the Texas State Aquarium. Way too many people and too many little guys. The incidence were minimal, some crying, a little yelling, and a whole lot of puke! I'm so glad we all got together for this. Can't wait until the next go round :) It may be cow town, but it's our town now!

He sits, He stands, He wobbles
Yesterday Maverick started standing in one spot for about 15 seconds. Today He stood next to daddy and I reached out my arms inviting him to come to me and he took two wobbly steps over!!!!! Jesse and I just looked at each other and we all started laughing, well we laughed Maverick has this excited scream he lets out, it was AWESOME! This little boy needs to slow down! He is growing up way to fast!

Goodbye McAllen, Hello Kingsville!
Summer has officially begun! We made the move to Kingsville on June 5th and we have been settling in nicely. Let me tell you it was hard to leave Mimi, PawPaw and my friends, and we just had to go back in visit 6 days later. Life in Kingsville is different, but we are already making friends and finding lots of ways to stay busy. Maverick and I are in a Mommy and me swim class. He is the only boy but the girls just love him. He is such a little fish! He dunks his head underwater twice during class time and has night cried yet! Sadly tomorrow is our last day but we have already made play dates with some of the girls.
Everyone in this town has a baby around his age! It's great, I just wish he had another little male friend to play with also. He has become a little dare devil within the last couple of days. He climbs up his toys, scales walls, and bookshelves when I turn my back for two seconds. No accidents yet THANK GOD! Maverick is crawling like crazy and we are sure he will be walking soon (Please not too soon!) He is hard enough to catch now!
These photos are a little bit of the first summer 2009 action. Everything from goodbyes to Mimi, PawPaw, and friends to crazy basket head wearing. I hope you enjoy them and much as I enjoy taking them. More to come soon. We are hoping Summer 2009 is a long one!
